Message from the Principal:
What a wonderful start to the day for our students in Grades 1-5. Students have already settled in with their teachers and found friends. We thank you for entrusting us with your children and look forward to partnering with you this year.

Important Upcoming Dates to Note:
Information and Events in the ES:
After School Activities-
We have a robust After School Activity program, with sessions across the year. Students participation in ASAs is a highlight for many. Neil Riley is our ES ASA Coordinator this year. He has already sent out a link for the first-term selection- planned to begin on August 29. Please feel free to contact Neil directly at email@example.com. If you didn’t receive the link- please view it HERE.
We need your help parents! Please remember: Students must be actively supervised by an adult before 8:00 AM and after school.
From the LIBRARY:
Summer Book Return:
Parents and students checked out over 5,000 library books for the summer! It's now time to return them and get some new ones. Please help your children find and return their books as soon as possible so they can check out new ones when they come to the library with their classes. Thank you!
Where did you read this summer?
We'll be posting photos of our enthusiastic summer readers on the TV monitor outside the library and on the ES Library Blog. If you would like to share photos of you or your children reading somewhere in the world, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The PTO has several early events to help connect our parents and families:
September 3: Welcome Mixer- a Parent Event
September 10: PTO Fall BBQ
