Homeroom Parent Advisory Council Monthly Meeting with ES Principal Munnerlyn- March 15, 08:45-09:45- A002)
This meeting is an opportunity for our Elementary Homeroom parents to connect with Mrs. Munnerlyn on a variety of topics in the Elementary School. All Homeroom Parents are welcome to attend.

Elementary Conferences- Friday, March 24, 2017
Our Elementary Spring Conferences are planned for March 24. While this is not a school day for students, please note that students in Kindergarten to Grade 5 will each participate in their conferences.
Why? Because your children are a vital part of the learning journey! Celebrating what has gone well, and being able to speak to what he/she will do next allows students to have a voice in their own learning journey. Being present for and part of our conferences help children feel connected and empowered.
Please remember, teachers are always available to meeting with parents throughout the year. If there is an important need for you to speak with your child’s teacher, don’t wait for a conference date! (We will do the same.)

Please be on the lookout for a special email from the ES Office on Wednesday morning with conference sign-up sheets for all classes.

We are hoping for 100% attendance on this special day.

Call for Makers- ASW’S FIRST MAKER FAIRE!- April 27, 2017
Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, scientists, authors, artists, students, and community makers. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned. Click HERE for more information.

We invite you to set up a station at the Maker Faire to showcase your unique creative skills and demonstrate to small groups of students how to do it themselves.

Please spread the word and sign up here: Maker Activity/Demonstration
or Event Volunteer.

This year's exciting middle school production of Shrek, the Musical Jr. is just around the corner! This show is sure to entertain audiences of all ages with its spectacular singing and dancing, brilliant costuming, amazing, sets, lighting and an orge's swamp full of hilarious jokes and surprises!

Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical JR., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical.  It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits including Pinocchio, the Wicked Witch, the Gingerbread Man, the Three Pigs and many others on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance.  Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek JR. is an amusing show with a powerful message for the whole family.

You can join in on the fun when our talented middle school cast presents two shows on Monday, April 3rd at 5:00and Tuesday, April 4th at 6:00. Tickets will go on sale later this week in front of the ASW cafeteria and THESE SHOWS WILL SELL OUT FAST! Proceeds from our ticket sales and fundraisers will go toward sending children from a local orphanage to summer camp.

Get ready to "Let Your Freak Flag Fly" with Shrek and his band of merry fairy tale friends in just a few short weeks!
