Message from the Elementary Principal: Dear Parents, We are off to a great start! Last week was a wonderful beginning to the year. Across the school we have happy students, eager teachers and a new way to connect our community: The IB Learner Profile! Students and teachers began learning more about what these important words mean to us: This week, please remember to attend our Elementary Back to School Evening. This event provides important information for all families in our school. It is a parent-only event. (Students do not need to attend. ) The basic program for Back to School Night is as follows: 6:00-6:55 Presentation in the Theatre from ES Principal, PYP Coordinator and Elementary Specialists 6:55-8:00 Grade Level or Classroom presentation- two times, each 30 minutes long (to allow parents who have older/younger children to rotate) Prior to Back to School Night, Grade 5 parents will be meeting to learn more about the upcoming Grade 5 Student Trip to Łopuszna- September 12-15. Classroom teachers will be in contact with information about where that meeting will take place. Finally, it is important for parents to follow our after school supervision rules. All elementary students require active, adult supervision. (Parents need to be on the playground with their children if they are playing.) Please help us keep our children safe by supervising them after school. Thank you for the gift of your children this year! Warmly, Jen Munnerlyn ES Principal Important Upcoming Dates to Note: September 1-
