Annie Jr. is based on a famous musical that has been adapted to be performed by children. Set in Depression-era New York City, the plucky heroine has many adventures to find a new life. Along the way, she escapes the clutches of the evil Miss Hannigan and her family, befriends a loveable dog, Sandy, meets President Franklin Roosevelt and captures the heart of billionaire, Oliver Warbucks and his secretary Grace Farrell. Its exciting plot and catchy songs will be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
Over 50 grade 1 -5 students have been working hard since the start of the year both on stage and backstage to bring this production to the ASW community. We invite you to the performances in the ASW Theatre on Sunday, 14th February at 15:00 and on Tuesday 16th February, after school. Tickets are available at the door for 10zł. Proceeds will go to Filia Domu Dziecka Nr. 4 na Grodzienskiej for their summer camps.
