What a wonderful response from our community! We had record attendance with 98% of our parents signing-up for a Three-Way Conference opportunity.
As detailed in our new K-12 Policy “Assessment at ASW,” these opportunities to have students share with parents and teachers is an important part of our PYP Authorization process:
“Three-way conferences are designed to achieve some and/or all of the following:
As part of our Partnership with Parents, please remember you are always welcome to schedule a meeting with a teacher (and teachers can do the same with parents) if a need arises across the year.

Black and Red Day
Hello, this is from the high school athletics and activities council. On Friday October 13th there will be SCIS varsity boys soccer tournament and we would like to support our athletes by wearing our school colors: red and black. Therefore could you please send out information to the students to wear red and black colors on that day? I will provide you the schedule of the times when our team plays, or students can find information in front of the new gym or in front of Mr. Matter's office.
Parent Partnership Meeting- All ES Parents Welcome!

Our first meeting aims to share what the ES is working on this year and to provide parents with an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect!
UN Day is a wonderful opportunity for our parents and students to celebrate our international school. We have children and families from everywhere at ASW and teaching our children to appreciate how we are unique, while also building bridges to better understand how we are similar, is a big part of our work as educators. parents, and as citizens of the world.
The Elementary School has designed several opportunities for our children to be engaged and learning during the week of October 16-19:
1. On Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday students will share about their home countries. How this looks is dependent on what the child (with parent support or guidance) decides is important to share with the class and will vary by grade level.
2. On Thursday, Oct. 19, UN DAY @ ASW
Important Note about After School Activities on Oct. 18-19:
ALL indoor programs taking place after school on Wednesday 18th and 19th in all gyms will be cancelled due to UN Day Assembly and UN Day setup.
